A FRIEND :
On November 25, 2001, Donald Racine passed away after a cruel illness. 
His message on our guestbook in June 2000 was very moving. And a few months ago, knowing that he had only not much time to live, he was still writing to us in a beautiful e-mail : "I will keep you in my heart as well as the people of Laon. I am so grateful to have been able to spend a short portion of my life in that wonderful portion of the world... ...It is encouraging to hear from people that also have positive experiences of that magnificent city and surrounding hamlets".
Our sincere condolences to his family and to his friends. We'll keep Donald in our memories.
